Writer. Stubborn researcher. Card-carrying member of the 3:07am club.

I'm Jenna Rowe. I write plain-English guides about what actually happens to a woman's body in midlife, and what the mainstream science says to do about it.

I didn't plan on this job. I hit my own midlife wall: the weight that ignored everything I did, the wide-awake nights, the appointment where I was told my labs were normal and offered antidepressants on the way out. Somewhere between that parking lot and my kitchen table, I decided that if nobody was going to explain my own body to me, I would learn it myself.

So I did what I do professionally: I read. For two years I worked through the actual research on muscle, sleep, stress, and steady energy in midlife. The studies themselves, not the headlines about them. I tested what held up on myself and on the women around me. The Midlife Reset is everything that survived that testing, written the way I wish someone had written it for me at the start.

What I am not: a doctor, a nurse, a dietitian, or a coach with a certificate wall. I will never pretend otherwise, and everything I publish routes you to your own clinician for medical decisions.

What I believe:

  • You were never the problem. The instructions were.
  • A plan you can start at 20% battery beats a perfect plan you can't start at all.
  • An honest answer includes "the research is mixed here" when it is.
  • Nobody needs another supplement. Ever.
