About Northerly

The Northerly star emblem

Northerly exists because of one appointment.

The one where a smart, exhausted woman describes what's actually happening to her — the weight that ignores everything she does, the 3am wake-ups, the fog, the fuse she doesn't recognize — and walks out twelve minutes later with "your labs are normal" and a pamphlet.

We think she deserved better. Not louder marketing. Better instructions.

Northerly makes plain-English guides for the midlife transition. Our first program, The Midlife Reset, is built on a simple conviction: the mainstream science on midlife bodies — muscle, sleep, stress, steady energy — is actually good. It just never gets translated into something a real woman with a real life can start on a Tuesday night.

So that's what we do. We read the research. We say honestly when it's mixed. We turn what's solid into checklists, plates you can picture, and a first 14 days scripted one small move at a time.

What we will never do:

  • Sell you supplements or a "hormone-balancing" anything
  • Auto-bill you for a subscription you didn't clearly choose
  • Use fake reviews, countdown timers, or before/after photos
  • Pretend to be doctors (we're not, and we route you to yours — often)

Who writes this: Jenna Rowe — a writer and researcher who hit her own midlife wall and spent two years reading every study she could find. She's not a physician, nurse, or dietitian, and she'll be the first to tell you so. What she is: relentless about getting the science right and translating it into something you can actually do. Read Jenna's story.
